As we start to enter the beautiful Cumbrian summer, the range of activities and things to do in our county broadens massively.
This means that more people will try things they haven’t maybe done yet such as water sports or even just a day out by the lake with their mates.

Luckily for us, we have some incredibly scenic and picturesque locations for these activities, one of them being the famous Coniston Water, situated in the village of Coniston, nestled deep into the Lake District.
Coniston Water has a wide variety of activities for all ages, with boats and kayaks available to hire from the Coniston Boating Centre website.

You can also hire electric bikes if you just fancied an eco-friendly peddle around the 3rd largest body of water in our Lake District.
If you just want to relax on the water, take a seat on the Coniston Launch and take in the views of your surroundings.
We also cannot forget the Greenwood Trail routes and Miles without Stiles routes for any avid walkers or hikers who want a change of scenery to kick start their summer!

There’s so much to do, and it’s right on our doorstep. Hopefully, this is the thing you needed to hear as the brighter days start to seep in!
